Said material is represented by the formula: TiCxOyHz with 0.1.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.6, 2.0.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.3.0 and 0.1.ltoreq.z.ltoreq.0.9. Said hybrid material is produced and deposited on a substrate using either a polymeric precursor route or MOCVD.
