The present invention relates to a composition comprising a soluble combination comprising lignosulfonate, a metal salt, and a phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of phosphorus acid and spontaneously soluble salts thereof, and mixtures thereof. The present invention also relates to the use of such compositions as pesticides.
