Oligopeptides and derivatives thereof, peptide analogs and derivatives thereof as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts of these compounds, which correspond to general formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 represents H, --C(O)--R.sup.7, --SO.sub.2--R.sup.7, --C(O)--OR.sup.7 or --C(O)--N(R.sup.7).sub.2 R.sup.2 represents, independent of one another, H or --(C.sub.1-C.sub.4)-alkyl, R.sup.3 and R.sup.6 represent, independent of one another, --(CH.sub.2).sub.q--N(R.sup.1)R.sup.8 R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 represent, independent of one another, --CH.sub.2--OR.sup.2, --CH(CH.sub.3)OR.sup.8 or --CH.sub.2--CH.sub.2--OR.sup.8 R.sup.7 represents hydrogen, optionally substituted (C.sub.1-C.sub.19)-alkyl; optionally substituted (C.sub.1-C.sub.19)-alkenyl; phenyl-(C.sub.1-C.sub.4)-alkyl whose phenyl radical is optionally substituted with amino in the para position R.sup.8 represents H, --(C.sub.1-C.sub.4)-alkyl, --C(O)--R.sup.7, --C(O)--OR.sup.7, --C(O)--N(R.sup.7).sub.2 or --SO.sub.2--R.sup.7 X represents oxygen (--O--) or --NH--; or XR.sup.7, with X=O, also represents the esters of .alpha.-tocopherol, tocotrienol or retinol or the carboxylic acid (with R.sup.7=H) m, n, p represent, independent of one another, zero or 1 and q in R.sup.3 and R.sup.6 represent, independent of one another, an integer from 1 to 4, with the provision that the following conditions do not simultaneously occur: R.sup.4=--CH(CH.sub.3)--OH and R.sup.5=--CH(CH.sub.3)--OH and R.sup.6=--(CH.sub.2).sub.4--NH.sub.2; dermopharmaceutically and/or cosmetically active compositions containing at least one compound of formula (I).
