A new cultivar of hybrid Heuchera named `Blackout`, characterized by its glossy, dark black-brown colored foliage held nearly flat on dark purple petioles, its compact and mounded plant habit, its vigor, and its hardiness in at least U.S.D.A Zones 4 to 9.
