The inventive method is characterized in that the object is recorded simultaneously or almost simultaneously by at least two different recording devices, whereby all pixels of the surface to be imaged are imaged in at least two different directions in at least one digital two-dimensional image each and a three-dimensional model of the viewed object is calculated from at least two images.
