A compound having the formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 is a substituted phenyl, R.sup.2 is a phenyl substituted with halogen atoms, R.sup.3 is a substituted phenyl, D is an oxygen or a methylene, and n is 0 or 1. The compound is a synthetic intermediate for a neurokinin receptor antagonist.
