The electrooptical apparatus includes a lighting time measuring unit for measuring a lighting time of the electrooptical devices, a lighting time storage unit for storing the lighting time obtained by the lighting time measuring unit, and a drive current amount adjusting unit for adjusting the amount of drive current based on the lighting time stored in the lighting time storage unit so as to correct the brightness of the electrooptical devices.
