The present invention is directed to community based managed health kiosk systems for recording and analyzing individual user's health-related data in various locations throughout a community. The disclosed kiosk systems collect health data from a user to create and transmit a personal health record and to facilitate communication of the health data to remotely located health care professionals and researchers.
