An electrophotographic photoreceptor including a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer provided on a surface of the conductive substrate, an outermost layer of the photosensitive layer containing a crosslinked product formed from at least one charge transporting material having at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of --OH, --OCH.sub.3, --NH.sub.2, --SH, and --COOH and at least one selected from a guanamine compound or a melamine compound, the content of the at least one charge transporting material being at least about 90% by weight, and the content of the at least one selected from the guanamine compound or the melamine compound being from about 0.1% by weight to about 5% by weight.
