An exemplary system for a turbomachine includes a bore extending from an inner end to an outer end with an inner seat proximate to the inner end and an outer seat proximate to the outer end, a rotatable shaft with an inner slot and an outer slot, an outer seal ring capable of being received by the outer slot and capable of being seated in the outer seat and an inner seal ring capable of being received by the inner slot, capable of bridging the outer seat and capable of being seated in the inner seat where an axial width of the inner seal ring exceeds an axial width of the outer seal ring.
