The present invention is related to compositions containing chitosan conjugated CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and a chitosan conjugated Vitamin A or a .beta.-cyclodextrin conjugated vitamin A. The invention also concerns the preparation of the compositions. The compositions according to the invention can be used as topical and cosmetic compositions as well as pharmaceutical compositions for treatment of atopical dermatitis, psoriasis eczema as well as eczema of different origins and solar dermatitis.
