The invention relates to a method for preparing enantiomerically pure 4-pyrrolidinophenylbenzyl ether derivatives of formula I: ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.21, R.sup.22, R.sup.23, R.sup.24 and n are as defined in the description and claims and to intermediates useful in the method of the invention as well as salts thereof.
