Storage stable aspartyl .alpha.-aminosilanes are useful in applications where reactive .alpha.-aminosilanes have been used. Alkoxysilyl-terminated prepolymers are easily prepared therefrom and offer high reactivity to water or atmospheric moisture, even when the alkoxy groups are ethoxy groups.
