A method and system for over-the-air testing of a radio transreceiver is described. The radio transreceiver is placed in an enclosure box that is shielded to prevent leakage of RF energy. A nest assembly holds in place the radio transreceiver during testing to provide repeatable results with different radios. The testing assembly allows high volume characterization of the radio transreceiver performance in an environment rich with interfering RF signals.
