The inorganic composition articles contain a Li.sub.2O component and an Al.sub.2O.sub.3 component, with the percent by mass ratio of Li.sub.2O to Al.sub.2O.sub.3 (Li.sub.2O/Al.sub.2O.sub.3) being at least 0.3, include crystals, and have a compressive stress layer arranged on a surface.
