The present invention relates to thiazolylimidazole derivatives of the general formula (I) in which: G represents a bond or a divalent radical chosen from the groups g1, g2 and g3; and R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, Y and Z are as defined in the description. Application of the compounds of the formula (I) to the treatment of hypertriglyceridaemia, hypercholesterolaemia and dyslipidaemia.
