A process of contacting at least one isoparaffin and at least one C.sub.5 olefin in the presence of a catalyst composition under conversion conditions to provide for converting the at least one isoparaffin and the at least one C.sub.5 olefin is provided. The catalyst composition contains a heteropoly acid, zinc, and a support component.
