The present invention provides a printer in a network, the printer adapted
to print a first form and a second form including coded data and receive
data from a sensing device operated by a user on the forms. The sensed
data includes an identity that is relayed via the printer to a computer
system which determines if movement of the sensing device on the first
form is in respect of the selection of one or more objects and if
movement of the sensing device on a second form is in respect of
selection of one or more commands. The printer receives response data
from the computer system indicating an association of the one or more
selected objects with the one or more selected commands and prints an
amended version of the second form including a representation of the
selected one or more objects.
