An air bearing slider for a disk drive, which has a read/write head mounted thereon and is lifted from a surface of a disk due to a lifting force generated by the rotation of the disk, and a suspension assembly including the air bearing slider, the air bearing slide includes: a slider body, which has a disk facing surface facing the surface of the disk and a rear surface opposite to the disk facing surface; a positive pressure forming rail part, which protrudes from the disk facing surface of the slider body and generates a positive pressure for lifting the slider body from the surface of the disk; and an air ventilator, which passes obliquely through the slider body from the disk facing surface to the rear surface in an air flow direction and discharges air introduced between the disk and the slider body and particles contained in the air.
