The present invention relates to an addition-cross-linking two component silicone material containing one or more organopolysiloxanes having at least two vinyl groups in the molecule, at least one cross-linking agent and at least one catalyst, wherein the material contains more than 1 wt %, relative to the total quantity of the two-component silicone material, of at least one organopolysiloxane of general formula I CH.sub.2.dbd.CH--SiR.sup.1R.sup.2O--(SiR.sup.1R.sup.2O).sub.n--SiR.sup.1R- .sup.2--CH.dbd.CH.sub.2, in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are selected from the group comprising alkyl groups, aryl groups, aralkyl groups, halogen-substituted alkyl groups, halogen-substituted aralkyl groups, cyanoalkyl groups, cycloalkyl groups and cycloalkenyl groups, and n is an integral number between 1 and 9, as well as to the use of this silicone material.
