A valve bushing (100) is seated in the front end (96) of each heated nozzle (12). A central melt bore (50) in each heated nozzle (12) splits in the valve bushing (100) near the front end of the heated nozzle (12) from where the melt flows around each of the valve pins (62) to the gates (66).
