Portable container for producing a disinfectant. The container includes an exterior wall made of a gas-permeable material and two or more chambers arranged adjacent to one another structured and arranged to separately hold ready-made solutions or dry substances for the production of a gaseous disinfectant. A wall arranged between the two or more chambers is impermeable to substances and is capable of being made permeable manually prior to the use of the disinfectant.
