If one of the stored times has been reached, image sensing is done in accordance with the set contents, and the obtained image is stored in the HD (106). Upon launching a candidate edit program, an old document inserted with images is displayed on a CRT (103). When a desired image is designated, it is substituted by a new, sensed image candidate corresponding to that designation position. The created document is then uploaded to a WWW server.
