The present invention provides a polyester resin composition comprising alkylene terephthalate, Fast Reheat (FRH) additives, Nucleating additives, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid comonomers or their mixed composition to impart clarity and transparency to the CPET. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said thermoplastic composition of clear CPET.
