A novel cosmetic composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, at least one aminosilicone as defined herein having, for example, a contact angle with water ranging from 90.degree. to 180.degree. and at least one conditioner, being able to afford, for example, at least one improved cosmetic property (such as lightness, disentangling, volume and sheen) and/or at least one of long-lasting and remanent effects, as well as uses of the composition, such as for washing and/or conditioning keratin materials such as the hair or the skin.
