Disclosed is a phase change ink composition comprising a phase change ink carrier and a bis(urea-urethane) compound of the formula ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.1' each, independently of the other, is an alkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group, or an alkylaryl group, R.sub.2 and R.sub.2' each, independently of the other, is an alkylene group, an arylene group, an arlyalkylene group, or an alkylarylene group, R.sub.3 is an alkylene group, an arylene group, an arylalkylene group, or an alkylarylene group, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each independently of the other, is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
