This invention pertains to novel multiple quaternary ammonium salts and
their derivatives represented by the formula: ##STR00001## wherein each
R.sub.1, R'.sub.1, R.sub.2, R'.sub.2, R.sub.3, R'.sub.3, R.sub.4 or
R.sub.5 is independently selected from the group consisting alkyl, aryl,
aralkyl and
--CH.sub.2--CH(OR.sub.6)--CH.sub.2N.sup.+R.sub.1R.sub.2R.sub.3; wherein
one or more R.sub.6 group is selected from the group consisting of:
##STR00002## and wherein An.sup.- is an anion.This invention also
pertains to novel multiple quaternary ammonium salts and their
derivatives represented by the formula: ##STR00003## wherein each
R.sub.1, R'.sub.1, R.sub.2, R'.sub.2, R.sub.3 or R'.sub.3 group is
independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, aralkyl
and --CH.sub.2--CH(OR.sub.4)--CH.sub.2N.sup.+R.sub.1R.sub.2R.sub.3;
wherein one or more R.sub.4 group is selected from the group consisting
of: ##STR00004## and wherein An.sup.- is an anion.
