An interactive ordering tool allows online purchase of a kit. An auto-send option provides monthly delivery of a cycle kit timed to coincide with onset of the consumer's menses. An information component provides use instructions and health and lifestyle information in different media, including from a web site. Different kit types include assortments of different types of feminine hygiene articles specific to particular profiles of cycle characteristics and use preferences, arranged in a package in a use sequence keyed to cycle progression. Other distribution channels in the system include both traditional and non-traditional brick-and-mortar retailers and institutional channels, such as dispensing machines. Refills, sample kits, custom kits and compacts are provided.
