A device and methods are described for a non-invasive transnasal and
transocular drug delivery to the central nervous system using
iontophoresis technology. By delivered through the olfactory nerve and
the optical nerve, a biologically active substance of interest can be
enhanced to be delivered into the CNS and CSF and bypassing the
blood-brain barrier. Such drug delivery system can also be enhanced by
using phonophoresis and other enhancement techniques.
