The invention relates to vaccine against infectious salmon anaemia (ISA) virus, DNA sequences endocing immunogenic proteins from ISA virus, diagnostic kit for detection of ISA specific nucleic acid sequences and proteins and exploitation of the ISA virus genome or parts of it as a general model organism.
