The invention relates to an alternator for a motor vehicle including a
stator (13) equipped with a body (14) carrying several phases each
comprising, on the one hand, an inlet (E1 to E'3) and an outlet (S1 to
S'3) installed outside the body (14) of the stator (13), and, on the
other hand, electrically conducting elements, which are arranged in a
network on either side of the body (14) of the stator (13) so as to form
a first (12) and a second (12') bun and which pass through the said body,
in which the electrically conducting elements are linked together to form
the said networks and connect the inlet of the phase to the outlet of the
phase by forming at least one winding. According to the invention, one of
the buns (12, 12'), on one side of the body (14) of the stator (13),
carries three inlets (E1 to E3 E'1 to E'3), an electrically conducting
linking part (50, 51) linking the said inlets electrically together.
