The invention relates to a photothermographic material, comprising a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and a binder on a same surface of a support, wherein the non-photosensitive organic silver salt is the non-photosensitive organic silver salt in a dispersion that has been subjected to an annealing treatment at 30.degree. C. or more.
