Novel biphenyl derivatives of the general formula I in which R.sub.1, R.sub.1', R.sub.1'', R.sub.2, R.sub.2', R3 and n are as defined in Patent claim 1, stereoisomers thereof and physiologically acceptable salts or solvates thereof are novel integrin inhibitors which preferentially inhibit the .alpha..sub.v.beta..sub.6 integrin receptor.
