The present invention is a shoe sole formed from cotton fabric and bonded together with what in the prior art was thought to be a water soluble glue. As used in the specific construction of the present invention, millet glue is not substantially water soluble after about a year's worth of water exposure and day to day use of footwear having the invention shoe sole.
