A resilient cement composition of the invention comprises hydraulic cement, an aqueous rubber latex and a rubber latex stabilizing surfactant comprising an iso-dodecyl alcohol ether sulfonate ethoxylated with from about 10 to about 20 moles of ethylene oxide.
