Adhesive articles, particularly useful as reusable closures in the presence of moisture from refrigerated or frozen food packaging environments, comprising a moisture resistant substrate and a removable adhesive covering at least a portion of the substrate surface, the adhesive having a Moist Loop Test result of at least about 0.8 N/25 mm at a test plate temperature of 5.degree. C. The closure may also include a permanent adhesive covering another portion of the substrate surface. The adhesive articles provide easy application to packages and exhibit good adhesion performance in the presence of moisture, such as from refrigerated or frozen food packaging.
