A method for remote care of a diabetic patient involves providing lessons, obtaining the patient's profile, using the profile to select a lesson to be sent to the patient, sending that lesson to the patient, offering the patient information reflecting the patient's health, and offering the patient's healthcare provider information regarding at least one of the patient's study of the lesson, the patient's health, and the patient's medical appointments.
