Cyclodextrins and other ecapsulating oligosaccharides can be bound
to fibrous and/or polysaccharidic carriers by ionic bonds. The ionic bonds can
be produced by introducing cationic or anionic groups into the cyclodextrins, and
where appropriate, by introducing oppositely charged groups in the carrier material.
The products can be used for odor control in the fibrous material.
