Transgenic plants and host cells comprising antifungal polypeptides, isolated
from alfalfa plants, are shown to possess antifungal activity. DNA encoding the
polypeptides was cloned into vectors for transformation of plant, therby providing
a method of inhibiting fungal growth on plants.
