A three-dimensional image-capturing device comprises a first and second CCD and
a first and second photographing lens. The texture or still image of a subject
is captured by the first CCD through the first photographing lens. The distance
image of which pixel data represents distance information from the device to each
point on the surface of the subject is sensed by the second CCD through the second
photographing lens. The three-dimensional coordinate data of each point on the
surface of the subject is calculated from the distance information. The parallax
between the first and second photographing lenses is compensated for with reference
to the three-dimensional coordinate data of the subject.
