The tetrahydroquinolines can be prepared by condensing appropriately substituted
tetrahydroquinoline aldehydes with suitable substances and subsequently varying
the substituents present by customary methods. The tetrahydroquinolines are suitable
as active compounds in medicaments, in particular in medicaments for the treatment
of arteriosclerosis and dyslipidaemias.
