Acyl sulfonamides as inhibitors of HIV integrase

The present invention relates a series of compounds of Formula I ##STR1##

wherein R¹, R², R³, and B are as defined in the specification. The compounds are useful for the inhibition of HIV integrase and for the treatment of AIDS or ARC by administering compounds of the formula.
