A vehicle having an engine, a fuel tank, and a pump encased in a housing. The
pump
is in fluid communication with the fuel tank and the engine. A filter is disposed
intermediate the fuel pump and the engine. An electrical conductor having an inoperative
position and an operative position is operatively associated with the pump. When
the filter is installed, the electrical conductor contacts the pump housing to
ground the pump allowing operation thereof.
