A cassette loading apparatus includes a holder arranged to hold a cassette, and
a link mechanism arranged to support the holder with a plurality of levers in such
a way as to allow the holder to ascend and descend between an ascended position
and a descended position with respect to a chassis. The link mechanism includes
a pair of levers which are disposed respectively on two opposite sides of the holder,
and the pair of levers are formed integrally with each other through a connection
part arranged above an upper part of the cassette.
