A method and device for reproducing digital audio data in a mobile station
is disclosed. The mobile station can be connected by an adapter with a
personal computer in order to download MP3 digital audio data which was
previously downloaded from the Internet to a hard disk on the personal
computer. The adapter converts parallel data from the computer into serial
data for the mobile station, and vice versa. The MP3 digital audio data is
downloaded to the mobile station according to a downloading program stored
in the personal computer. One method according to the invention comprises
the steps of downloading the MP3 audio data stored in the computer to a
memory device of the mobile station, and selectively reproducing the MP3
audio data stored in the memory device.
