A dibenzylamine compound represented by the formula (1) 1
wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group optionally
substituted by halogen atoms and the like; R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5
are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and the like, or R.sup.3 and
R.sup.4 may form, together with carbon atoms bonded thereto, a homocyclic
or heterocyclic ring optionally having substituent(s); A is
--N(R.sup.7) (R.sup.8) and the like; ring B is an aryl group or a
heterocyclic residue; R.sup.6 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro
group, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group and the like; n is an integer of 1 to 3, a
prodrug thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof show
selective and potent CETP inhibitory activity, and therefore, they can be
provided as therapeutic or prophylactic agents for hyperlipidemia or
arteriosclerosis and the like.
Un compuesto del dibenzylamine representado por el fórmula (1) 1 en donde R.sup.1 y R.sup.2 son cada un grupo alkyl C.sub.1-6 substituido opcionalmente por los átomos del halógeno y los similares; R.sup.3, R.sup.4 y R.sup.5 son cada un átomo del hidrógeno, un átomo del halógeno y los similares, o R.sup.3 y R.sup.4 pueden formar, junto con los átomos de carbón enlazados además, un anillo homocyclic o heterocíclico opcionalmente que tiene substituent(s); A es -- N(R.sup.7) (R.sup.8) y similares; el anillo B es un grupo aryl o un residuo heterocíclico; R.sup.6 es un átomo del hidrógeno, un átomo del halógeno, un grupo nitro, un grupo alkyl C.sub.1-6 y similares; n es un número entero de 1 a 3, un prodrug de eso y actividad inhibitoria selectiva y potente de una demostración farmacéutico aceptable de la sal de eso de CETP, y por lo tanto, pueden ser proporcionados como agentes terapéuticos o profilácticos para la hiperlipidemia o arteriosclerasis y los similares.
