The invention relates to chromophores exhibiting semiconductive properties,
the production and use thereof as luminophores in organic light-emitting
diodes (OLEDs) and organic solar cells. The invention more specifically
relates to highly condensed boron complex compounds wherein the boron
atoms have improved processability, solubility and the fluorescence
quantum efficiency is increased by building up by spirocenters.
