Thiazole derivatives of formula I are provided 1
as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof, wherein
R.sub.1 to R.sup.5, a and b have the significance given in the
specification. The compounds are neuropeptide Y Y5 receptor antagonists
which can be used for the treatment of obesity.
De derivaten van Thiazole van formule I worden verstrekt 1 evenals farmaceutisch aanvaardbare zouten en esters daarvan, waarin R.sub.1 aan R.sup.5, a en B de betekenis hebben die in de specificatie wordt gegeven. De samenstellingen zijn de antagonisten van de neuropeptidey Y5 receptor wat voor de behandeling van zwaarlijvigheid kan worden gebruikt.
