A method and apparatus for improving the accuracy of a telescopic sight
used on a projectile weapon. The method allows an individual to
effectively and efficiently "sight in" their firearm sight based on
performance shot pattern in a target at pre-determined range values. The
method utilizes a series of static gauges that represent uniform
incremental indicia thereon that correspond to telescopic sight range
adjustment input values. The gauges are placed on the target to indicate
the required adjustment to be made to achieve an accurate shot performance
at a given distance.
