An apparatus for detecting the presence of metal material in a
semiconductor wafer. The apparatus comprises: (i) a current-carrying coil
for generating a first magnetic field, wherein the first magnetic field is
capable of causing the metal material in the semiconductor wafer to
generate an opposing magnetic field; and (ii) a detection circuit for
detecting the opposing magnetic field generated by the metal material when
the semiconductor wafer is in proximity to the current-carrying coil.
Um instrumento para detectar a presença do material do metal em um wafer de semicondutor. O instrumento compreende: (i) uma bobina atual-carregando para gerar um primeiro campo magnético, wherein o primeiro campo magnético é capaz de fazer com que o material do metal no wafer de semicondutor gere um campo magnético se opondo; e (ii) um circuito de deteção para detectar o campo magnético opondo-se gerado pelo material do metal quando o wafer de semicondutor estiver na proximidade à bobina atual-carregando.
